Spice Dish Gift Set Commission
The Story
A client commissioned a custom holiday gift set to gift his editors, a tradition he does each year. After exploring several concepts together, we settled on a collection of beautifully nesting spice dishes that were both functional and giftable.
The final commission included 21 gift sets, each consisting of five wheel thrown, perfectly nesting dishes tied together with natural twine and paired with a small bag of pecans for a finishing touch that completed the dishes into a complete holiday gift.
To make the experience feel even more personal, I designed a custom informational card to accompany each set, sharing the inspiration behind the project and offering recipients a glimpse into the making of the ceramics.
